About 80% of all the artwork in the Hokitika Craft Gallery is locally made! And the rest?
Is made by amazingly talented artists from other parts of New Zealand.
At the moment we showcase the work of over 80 artists and craftsmen:
wooden bowls and boards, flax weaving, paintings, fine wool weavings, pottery, raku pottery, pounamu/jade, gold, silver, paua, glass, cards,
prints and so much more...
New. Revived. Invigorated.
We re-opened the doors to the new Hokitika Craft Gallery in October 2019,
showcasing art and craft work from the many fantastic local and New Zealand art and craftsmen.
Some former members of the local co-operative have returned and others have been found.
