Aotea & Ruby Rock
Aotea stone is a very rare semi-precious gemstone comprised of a mix of minerals, generally Kyanite, Fuchsite and Quartz. Found only in South Westland on the beds of the Jacobs (Makaawhio) River. This stone brings harmony, love and beauty within the self and others. A healing stone worn to promote a positive well being.
The most magical aspect of the Aotea stone is that if it is worn on the skin, the Aotea can absorb your energy and oils and can change the colourings of the stone which will make that piece more personally to you.
Ruby Rock is classified the most rare semi-precious gemstone to only be found in the Hokitika area of the West Coast NZ. Ruby Rock/Goodletite comprises of Ruby/Sapphires and Tourmaline crystals in emarald Fuchsite.
